![]() We weren’t warned when booking, only shortly before so we couldn’t change the booking and it wasn’t dealt with well. The seaweed isn’t the hotels fault but it’s how they’ve dealt with it. The beach would have been the saviour of the experience but it’s covered in seaweed. We were put into a garden room that looks over a carpark. The room really is pretty out dated, the windows are so dusty it’s hard to see out. ![]() The hotel is huge and extremely tired, it looks nothing like the photos. We were directed to concierge who didn’t seem to know either. When we went to check in it took about 10 uses of the card machine for it to work, we also asked about a few things and none of the staff seemed to know. The service has been disappointing, despite there being hundreds of staff we weren’t welcomed or directed to the reception (it’s a big place!). If you’re reading this and choosing between hotels in Barbados, avoid this one! We’ve spread our time between a few in order to see the island and this is low on the list, especially at this price point. ![]()
